GitLab integration guide

Connect GitLab to Evolve so repository or ticket events can start workflows. You will need the webhook URL and signing secret shown in the Evolve Integrations Hub after you add the provider.

Setup steps

1. Open your project on GitLab.
2. Go to Settings → Webhooks.
3. Paste the Webhook URL into the URL field.
4. Paste the Signing secret into the Secret token field.
5. Select the events to trigger (Push, Merge request, etc.) and click Add webhook.

Recommended events

Enable Push events, Merge request events, and Comments for the most common workflow triggers.

Return to the Integrations Hub to copy your webhook URL, verify the connection, and view delivery history in Audit.
